BB K9s cc
BB: $5.00 (Hero)
UTG: $5.32
CO: $5.20
BN: $5.14
I consider the flop to be little on the wet side, even though there's two Q on the board there's a lot of possible draws on the turn so that's few reasons we should defend our hand by raising, on the other hand i don't consider my hand super strong, its more in the 'medium' category of hands so i don't think building a pot with it by raising is a good idea, if the opponent calls our bet how will we continue on later streets?
This is one of the typical spots on the BB i face after calling, I try to defend wide enough so villains don't see that I just fold vs any2.
Still have a lot of work to do on my post flop game, and I'm looking especially on the BB cc spots because that's where I get lost in a hand most of the time.
I'm trying to follow the hand strength principle when playing those spots, and take into account how dangerous the next card could be for me and then deciding if I should call/raise or fold. Sometimes it's hard to decide the check/calling or raising a hand that just looks like a medium hand that wants to see a cheap showdown but is very vulnerable on the turn and river.
If anyone could give me few tips i would be very grateful.
This is also my first post on RIO, the community and content looks great, so hello everyone and see you around because I'm staying here for good :-)
