I'm in the big blind with 78o. Mid position flats, cutoff flats, button flats. (Sure sign you're playing low limit)

Flop comes J66. I check, MP bets 1/2 pot. Folds to me. I check raise 3x telling myself he doesn't have AJ or he would have raised and a 6 checks. I check raise him hoping to keep barreling if I pick up equity with a 5, 9, or anything bigger than a J -- especially an Ace. I definitely have more sixes in my range. Turn comes Ace. I barrel again. He calls. I know he has the Jack but is too stupid to fold. I check the river, he checks behind and shows a J10o.

Anyone have any problems with this play other than it should have been ran on a different player type?

I know a hand history would have been better and stack depths but I don't think that's absolutely necessary for input.
