I think I'm happy enough with the hand up to the river. Plan was definitly to call down flush draw given the ace.

The river check and speed really threw me off, it just made him look very weak, and I don't expect a ten to raise the turn too often.

Given the awkward stack the main thing going through my mind was how lame it would be losing to a better ace that got carried away like AK, AQ. Pocket nines might find a fold occasionally as well.
