$3/$5 live - AK on AJT
Villain in EP just sat down at the table an orbit ago, so no real info on him. Has little signs that he is competent player based on opening and cbet size. A little on the tight side where he tank called QQ on KKT wit a less than 1 SPR pot against a very fishy player, so probably a bit nitty.
9 handed ($3/$5)
UTG +1 ($800) opens $20
Hero Mp1 ($512) 3bet AhKc to $80
SB ($250) cold calls $80
UTG+1 calls $60 more.
Flop ($240) AJTr
sb X, UTG1 X, hero $75, SB folds, utg1 calls.
turn ($390) AJT9
utg1 X, hero all in $357
Given the flop texture and approximate SPR of 2, is this a hand where I just want to bet flop and shove a lot of turns? On the flop if UTG1 check raises, I believe I have to fold despite it only being a PSB when he shoves. Seems really disgusting and made me think maybe the flop is a check, instead of making a 31% cbet, I should just check the flop and evaluate the turn?
Thanks in advance for the feed back.
