25NL - when to check call OTR in 3 bet pots

SB: Pongmosher: $45.03
BB: Mushmellow: $29.11
Button raise 75% and he is calling 59% of my 3bets.
Preflop ($0.35) (2 Players)
Mushmellow was dealt A J
Pongmosher raises to $0.40, Mushmellow raises to $1.50, Pongmosher calls $1.25
I make it $1.75 for value and he calls.
Flop ($3.50) T 8 A (2 Players)
Mushmellow bets $2.22, Pongmosher calls $2.22
Value bet.
Turn ($7.94) T 8 A 2 (2 Players)
Mushmellow bets $5.03, Pongmosher calls $5.03
Value bet.
River ($18.00) T 8 A 2 T (2 Players)
Options:
1. Jam. I feel like once the 10 pairs I am only going to get called by better. I feel like if I jam he almost never has worse hands I guess accept maybe A8/A9 if he is calling my 3 bets with those hands which is likely because he calls so often. But I think jamming is not good.
2. Check/call
3. Check/fold

I guess once we decide to check here we have to figure out when bet sizes we are calling and what we are folding to. In this case villain fired out 2/3 pot. I figure he would be larger with trips so I found a call. I think if he bet bigger I might have folded.

Is check calling the river ever good? The only draws that miss are his QJ/9Js/79s combos which might be in his calling range for my preflop 3bet.

Thanks!
