25NL - top end of four straight on paired board

BB: 3460kur: $36.66
SB: Mushmellow: $29.42
Early in the match and I don't have any reads on this player yet.
Preflop ($0.35) (2 Players)
Mushmellow was dealt 7 T
Mushmellow raises to $0.65, 3460kur calls $0.50
Flop ($1.50) 7 6 8 (2 Players)
3460kur bets $0.71, Mushmellow calls $0.71
Haven't got any hands to showdown in which he donk bet yet.
Turn ($2.92) 7 6 8 9 (2 Players)
3460kur bets $1.39, Mushmellow raises to $4.17, 3460kur calls $2.78
I raise here for value. Should I have made this sizing larger?
River ($11.26) 7 6 8 9 8 (2 Players)
3460kur checks

I put him on a range of flush draws, and two pairs when he calls turn. I guess he could also have any pair to the board. When the river pairs and all the draws miss is there still value in betting this?

In game I was afraid that I might get faced with a large checkraise and didn't know how I would handle it. If I do get check raised in this spot I could be facing a 10 also but I also could be up against two pairs that called my turn raise that filled up on the turn and was afraid of making some incorrect folds because I didn't know if villain also had a 10 if he what just call my bet or reraise thinking he had the nuts (thought villian might ignore the fact that a 10 is not the nuts on this runout).

I think this is a clear value bet but what am I really getting called by that I beat?

Thanks!
