100NL Zoom: Facing a c/r w/ a medium strength hand in a 3b pot

BN: $107.94
SB: $139.18
BB: $103
UTG: $50
HJ: $118.06
CO: $103.89 (Hero)
28/17 over 48 hands
fold to 3bet (0/1)
c/r flop (1/2)
Preflop ($1.50) (6 Players)
Hero was dealt Q 9
UTG folds, HJ raises to $3, Hero raises to $8, BN folds, SB folds, BB folds, HJ calls $5
Flop ($17.50) 5 9 2 (2 Players)
HJ checks, Hero bets $9, HJ raises to $25, Hero raises to $41
Folding: I think this is a board which gets bluffed a lot. Straight up folding to the c/r is too weak w/o a read that he is not doing this as a bluff often.

Calling: is an option, but it's hard to play turns. Do we give up if he bets again? Can we get it in on a blank turn?
I think w/o a solid plan calling the flop is -EV.

3betting: I think we can 3bet with the intention of taking it down vs bluffs (which could steal the pot later if we opt to call here). and let him possible call with weaker hands (a hand like JhTh for example). If he shoves we need around 26% equity and I don't think we have that. So it would be a 3b/fold.

How would you play this hand?
