I've read a lot of conflicting opinions with regards the etiquette for tipping dealers in an MTT.

Obviously it's going to be dependant on if staffing costs are taken out of the prize pool, size of the tournament, buy in etc.
But I feel there should be some rule of thumb we can use, i.e.:
3% capped at £ X

I generally tip around 3% once I more than min cash, not sure if being a tipping NIT here?

I'm currently playing £400 - £1100 buy in events, [GPS, UKIPT etc] so specific advise to that buy in amount would be great too, general advice also very welcome.
