my local casino has a weekly 40 player max. 100buyin tournament

2500 in chips for 100buyin, starting blinds 25/50 with 1 Rebuy-chip viable for 3 levels (~1hours 20 minutes) until the break

THEN you can buy an addon for 100 which are 5000 in chips and the first level after the break is 100/200 so average is usually 30-40BB after the break...

What I am thinking about is wether or not it is even worth to play any hand before the break and have seriously pondered to fold anything but AA and just stick it in or something similar to this simply because I think that the risk of having to rebuy is almost not worth any chips that one might pick up...
I can't quite intuitively feel out how much it is worth to have more chips vs reducing ROI by risking having to rebuy in order to make the addon before the break.
