We are 58 left for 54 paid ; first 9 places get an EPT package in addition to the 150K prizepool. Making the money earns a bit less than 900€, and 12th starts to earn more than 2K, with first place at 35K or so.
It's early day 2, maybe 4-5 hands have been played, and I'm 36th ; also this is a new table, so I don't have many reads on the players. Frenchtoa on my left seems good for what I've seen earlier in the tourney. Luckymo332 is a reg I believe, as I've seen it around in french mtts. Don't know how good he is, but likely to be competent as well. Rokavima looks like he's a soft spot. He 3b shoved 30bb+ on the BTN vs CO, and opened 4x UTG. I think his calling range pre is pretty weak here.
I'm mostly a midstakes CG player, only starting to play more mtts. I debated 3betting pre. 3b shove seemed a bit gross for me considering the bubble situation ; 3b/fold might be interesting, but I was concerned about commiting 1/3rd (would have made it between 12 and 13k, maybe smaller is good?) of my stack and then folding. If I had had KQo, I would have squeeze/folded. There with KQs, I elected to see a flop with position most of the time (Frenchtoa is on the tight side), with a very playable hand multiway and a fishy player in the pot. Thought on that?
On the flop, I choose once again the cautious route by calling ; I don't like shoving for the same reason I don't like shoving pre.
River is kinda gross. I have roughly a PSB left and my tournament life is at risk. I don't know if vilain would find it a good bluffing spot or not (I must be an unknown to him). Would you call or fold this river?
