My local venues have very soft tournament fields filled with old guys that open HUGE. I'm talking like a 6-12x opens and even bigger. Yes it's true you can't make this stuff up. Example: Yesterday in a daily $150 tourney (softest field imaginable), guy opens in MP to 2200 @ bb200. Later at different table, different guy opens UTG to 6k @ bb1k.

What's a good strategy to exploit these guys? FWIW I've noticed a lot of these players are the "fear of flopping" types who do this with 88-JJ and even AK type of hands. These players also open limp wayyyy too much. The tables will often play like low limit cash games the amount of limping that goes on. As an example- these guys will limp like 22-88, any broadways, and good suited connectors, from basically any position. Many are limping much worse ranges than that as well.
