Facing an over bet at the WSOPC $365 Event 3 at Caesars today
Hey everyone,
First time posting. Just ran into this hand today over at Caesars in the WSOPC $365 MTT. Excited to hear thoughts:
Blinds 100-200
My stack: 13k
Villain: 18k
I've seen villain raise pot or more than pot several times already to pressure out opponents. I think his UTG starting range is closer to TAG than LAG though.
Villain (UTG) raises to 425
Me (CO) calls. Everyone else folds.
(Pot: 1075) Flop: 833hh
Villain bets 475. I raised to 1100. Villain raises to around 4750. I go all in for 11.5k. Call.
Turn: 10h
River: 8c
my hand: QcQs
Villain has KQhh.
Not sure if I played this hand correctly. With the over bet of 4750, I put his range at 99, 1010, JJ, flush draws A10hh+. I also think he could bet this with KQ+ no hearts to pressure me out of what could just be a test raise. I think if he had AA or KK he 3bets to a more callable range like 2500-3500 so I discounted those hands a fair amount. Thoughts?
