I've been playing solely MTTs this year (weekends and evenings), and I've made about $35k profit. I feel that when I get deep in tourneys I have a sick final table record and do really well. When the stacks are shorter, I can play a laggy style that really works well. Once i've built up my stack I can utilise it and put lots of pressure on my opponents. However that the early stages are by far the weakest aspect of my game, and I'm struggling to build stacks in the early levels. Should I tighten up and play tight pre-ante without 3 bet bluffing? What methods could I use to improve the deep stacked part of my game?
