Deep in Big 55 Hero Fold

Blinds: t1,000/t2,000 (8 Players) BN: 73,284
SB: 34,154
BB: 47,538
UTG: 55,441
UTG+1: 160,543
MP: 44,840
MP+1: 87,639 (Hero)
CO: 80,446
Preflop (3,000) Hero is MP+1 with J J
3 folds, Hero raises to 4,000, CO raises to 10,000, 3 folds, Hero calls 6,000
No history with villain though he is a good high volume reg. He has been fairly tight so far and this is the first time he has 3bet and I have been opening fairly wide without resistance. I think that 4bet/ call is standard and profitable though not massively so as I don’t assume he will have that wide a range to Gii this deep. Not sure if potentially busting a good reg with position has enough merit to potentially take such a marginal spot.
Flop (25,000) T Q J
Hero checks, CO checks
Think flop connects well with our calling range here as we have plenty of mid pairs and suited and unsuited broadway cards. He may assume that most sets or AK will 4bet pre so even though we do hit this board he would likely have more nut combos. Because of how well this hits our range and the somewhat dynamic texture I assume that he would bet his nut hands to allow him to bet his bluffs as well.
Turn (25,000) T Q J 3
Hero bets 8,899, CO raises to 25,000, Hero calls 16,101
Once he checks back flop I think betting is superior to x/raise or x/calling turn as he often has a hand with sdv and we lose value by checking. I think in hindsight I should bet larger here as his range is elastic to bet size and it sets up more of a river shove. Raise is quite a strange play as I don’t see what the three improves and think calling is the best here to keep in his bluffs as well as anything he plays for value this way.
River (75,000) T Q J 3 2
Hero checks, CO bets 45,196 and is all in, Hero folds
He jams and we only need 26% and are pretty much at the top of our range though we potentially have some 89s hands as well. Obviously really exploitable fold but I had a difficult time figuring out what hands would decide to start bluffing on the turn after checking flop. We still have a decent stack if we fold and not sure he would give an unknown credit for making big laydowns in this spot. Only thought as to why we could call was that small turn lead looked weak so he decided to bluff it off.
Final Pot CO wins 75,000
