Analyzing Ungar's 1997 WSOP ME Win

Hey guys... came across this analysis done by Clayton over at Leggo and thought it was pretty cool and worth a read. Note that I'm not sure if this is the proper forum nor am I sure whether it's the type of content we want given that its sourcing another teaching site, so feel free to move/delete as seen fit.

The only thing I had to add was:

"Awesome stuff. The one thing I would add is that I think it's pretty unfair to call any individual play bad given no info regarding live tells etc.. Ungar was obviously about 300x smarter than everyone else at that final table so I'd be shocked if he hadn't picked up on a TON of live tell stuff given the fact that he presumably had so much more live experience in high stakes situations AND he'd been playing for days with most of these guys. Also, it was an era where people were far less knowledgable about concealing information etc so hands like the final one with A4o or the limp/call with A7o could easily be validated with some additional tell information."
