Why do high stakes players opt out of long term results?
Hi all :)
Upon looking through the list of the biggest winners over at HighstakesDB, and looking through the profiles of the players that had top that day's leaderboard, I realized that a fair percentage of the players that win in the top games opt out of people seeing their long term results.
Are there obvious reasons for this? If I was a winning player at these stakes, I'd be 'showing off' all my results and letting everyone see them. I fully understand that if I'd lost a huge sum of money then you'd not want that to be shown but why do winning players do this?
List of winning players that currently opt out include:
Ragen70 - 2013's biggest winner and could easily be 3rd on all time money list.
PostFlopAction - up 800k this week
Trueteller - up 700k just from today
and Run it Once pros Di Dang and Oddsen
I'm not trying to call anyone out, just wondering why these players have chosen to hide their long term results.
Thanks for any responses
Snow :)
