Sunday result: disaster
~ Saturday ~
I was playing 6max 0,25 0,5 PLO on Saturday and was not winning. When I decided to 4-bet e.g. AAds and squeeze "good players" wanting to play HU with weaker player in my eyes, everyone called and ofc lost it vs QT87ds type hand.
Same with kings (lost vs AA), AKQJ ds (lost vs KJT9) etc. Wrong timing every time...
I decided to play HU as I thought I was better HU.
I chose to play some guy with Diamond status ( he shouldn't be bad, reg most likely), but I didn't care much...
I was playing him HU and was really crushing him. We were playing long session.
At the same time I was posting hands on RIO, commenting, eating in bed and playing some Tourneys ofc.
I came far in every T I played, but won nothing as almost every T I was out on bubble.
I think I did not care too much as my main focus was on cash game....
I realized at one moment it's 7:30 a.m. and decided to go to bed with minor loss after recovery with HU $20 CAP PLO 0,25 0,5.
~ Sunday ~
After 4h of sleeping, morning coffee, breakfast (in bed) quick turning on my gamebox.
Full tilt.....
I was reading a bit Mental Game of Poker I ordered long time ago from USA... It was shipped to me personally by Jared as I was first case having some internet purchase problems on his site. They also noticed something wasn't right... I was reading strategy chapter about injecting logic and resolution for tilt issues.... I knew I needed to play A game if I wanted to win that day.
I started playing 0,5 1 ring and did not started good. I tried to play tight, more IP, more with higher cards, but I don't even remember now how I lost it all. I was playing 2 tables + some really low buy in Tourneys ( 2,20 PLO ME rebuy for instance). The time was passing and it was time for another deposit. This time I needed to win.....
Ofc, I took all deposit money and put it in 1 table $1 $2. BRM....
I was going up and down (more down), but when I saw it's not going up as I hoped in the beginning, I switched to HU $20 CAP 0,25 0,50 (BRM - this time good one).
I found some reg with Diamond status and decided to play him. There were several players that were sitting at HU tables, but when I sat at table, they sat out and so on.... Hard to find opponent..
We started playing.
I was winning every single hand, folding his value bets, calling his big bluffs, value betting in right spots, I got to 2nd deposit amount.... I climbed from $25 to >$200 and at one moment opponent proposed going higher on $1 $2 HU . He said he was "too tilted to play this low" . I responded it's to high and out of my BR, but he remained silent... I proposed $0,5 $1 CAP highest, but silence again....
I wanted to play , and I wanted to play that player.
OK - let's play $1 $2 $80 CAP.
It was HU match with cca $200 each. I was winning in the start, but lost huge pot with KQJTds on flop AQT.
I had nuts + blockers for possible full, but opponent took it down with 77 rr for AAA77.
And then it happened again...
I was IP holding J987r, raised to $6, he re raised to $18, I called.
flop ( cca $36): KTs6 r
V bet $15, I called.
turn ( cca $66): 7s
V jamed, I called with nuts (re draw to higher street).
river: 7
and opponent won hand with TT9s8s. Cooler (although I was huge underdog which was hard to realize)...
All good play lost in 2 hands, and I was winning and dominating him most of time in many hands. I felt I was better than him, but....
Moving down with last money. 0,25 0,5 $20 CAP vs some Chech... He was berating me all the time telling me I was fish, donk, how can I call this, that while I took him >$150 in 2 hours....
From that point everything went downhill....
I started losing hands like:
hand 1)
flop: Q59
Hero: 5578, it's pot pot, and he had QQ89.
turn: 6
river: 7
low cards....
hand 2)
pre flop: he raises to 1, I re raise to 3, he re raises to 9, I call with JT97ds.
flop: 865 pot pot
turn: 8 he had AA86 r ....
etc......
I remained with last $80 when he left table telling me I should have quit long time ago ( with laugh).
I did not say a single word on all his assaults ( mentioned book).
The rest isn't worth of single word....
I am at work and finishing this post, I think I need sleep...
