I joined this site about 2 month ago. At the exact time i started reading "The Mental Game of Poker" and applied the things i read rigorously (writing down qualitative progress, concentrate on certain things throughout the session, evaluate emotional and qualitative results after session etc.). Even though I am only about half way through the book, the insane emotional rollercoster i had before when i played poker has mellowed out A LOT and winning or losing session have much less impact on my mood.

I started playing poker (after a long break and shortstacking/cap in the past) about 9 month ago and decided to play fullstacked from the lowest limit with the target of reaching nl100 as a winning player. I played a certain style that worked pretty okay from the get-go and also luckily ran massively above EV until i reached nl10.

Once i reached nl10 i felt like nothing was working what i did before and i ran less good than i did before, this was about 6 month ago and i thought about stopping. I rollercostered around and played less and less hands with an absolute terrible mindset.

Exaclty 2 month ago i decided to play again as seriously as possible (even though im playing for pennies) and started posting hands here. I learned a lot since then but am still doing loads of mistakes but these are my results from the last 2 month. I want to thank all of you guys who participated in discussing my Hands. I also decided that its more than justified to finally upgrade my Account to essential Pro and check out the video content here.

I am well aware that i in an insane upswing pretty likely, but i mostly post this because i am very happy with all the qualitative results i have archieved and with how structured im approaching poker since then.
