The Mental Game Of Poker
"The Mental Game Of Poker" by Jarred Tendler is by far one of the most helpful poker strategy books out there today. Each chapter of the book holds value. I'm beginning to understand that the mental game is certainly important to capitalize on. Understanding the theory of the game, fundamentals, and all the other aspects of poker is certainly important as well if you would like to become a solid poker player, but if your mental game isn't correct, you'll have a big leak to fill sooner or later. Tendler covers tilt, motivation, confidence, fear, laziness, and everything in between when it comes to poker, and when it comes to life. I thought at first no book would ever beat Tommy Angelo's, "Elements of Poker", but Tendlers' book it giving it a run for it's money. Highly suggest to any poker player out there, recreational or pro, to check out "The Mental Game Of Poker" if you haven't already. It will change your game entirely for the better.
