Ryan Henry's unconventional path to poker began as a recreational player killing time on the zynga poker app during university. After a move to Adelaide Australia to further his studies as a physiotherapist, he continued the grind with a bit more seriousness and an eye towards learning the game. He made his way back to New Zealand and attempted to balance work as a physiotherapist and a poker player but it didn't take long for him to realize poker was his true passions and to go full-time.
