Positions still matter when playing perfect poker?
Lets assume 2 AIs facing each other , both play perfect poker. Would position still matter in their battle?
From my logic, position only matters because your opponents will make more mistakes being oop , and you get exploited to a much lesser degree by your opponents . So , in a world of poker, where nobody plays close to perfect, those things matter. Human psychology and human error will make positional awareness a very powerful tool .
I am playing professional online poker since 5 years, and i am well aware of the effect position has on your winrate , but would that still matter in a game of 2 parties who play perfect poker ?
Consider chess, in professional chess white wins more often than black, but as far as i know, it is theoretically not proven that white really does have an advantage over black, given both parties play perfect chess?

"You will win with either color if you are the better player, but it takes longer with Black." – Isaac Kashdan
or take checkers : " The conclusion to be drawn from the completion of the database: with perfect play by both sides checkers cannot be won or lost. The game will inevitably end in a draw. "
If my thinking and reasoning is flawed, i am very happy if someone can shed some light on this .
