As of late, been looking into a new game and decided to dabble in PLO. Can anyone answer a few of my questions that would be great.

Good beginner material to learn PLO from starting hands to basic game play?

How different is PLO compared to NL? The things I can think off the top of my head are blockers play a large roll, 2nd nuts can be folded sometimes and not an instant call-off and calling it a cooler

Which format is the more popular among the general public? 9handed 6max or HU? 

And of course any tips you would like to give a beginner would be great :) played around a few 1000 hands of PLO zoom and some HUPLO am up a few buys. definitely not something I feel is long term since its such a weak sample lol, but definitely found it refreshing changing games instead of playing NL all the time. Want to learn it in my off-time when I'm not thinking about NLHE.
