Hey guys. This is my other new spot :)

One of my favorite things about developing my first blog "Achieving Higher Balance" was the attempt to express two things at once. To me, my favorite posts are the ones that manage to capture the journey as a poker player, and connect it to the overarching journey of life itself. More and more, I find myself gravitating toward the idea that poker is an apprenticeship to "skills that translate" -- to anything in life. I'll be focusing more on that flavor of writing in this journal, along with general musings that I find inspirational and worthwhile. Poker has given me a great deal of self understanding and I remain deeply connected to the struggle we all go through to improve. May we love, serve, and understand each other more deeply. Here's to another year of whatever feels true :)
