Learning how to play NLHE 6max cash games. Woop woop!
I have been reading on this forum and now want to start a journal for some feedback and for fun. I actually made my first and only post here in 2013, and after that I was playing a little bit of everything. Last year I decided to find some coaching.
So now I kind of have two coaches and a friend who is also learning to play 6max NLHE. These guys are extremely intelligent, and I have such a weak spot for that. So I am very grateful to have them in my sphere. However, most of the work I will need to do on my own. And I expect to work quite hard overall.
I started this project off by playing zoom and that did not go good. Zoom play out very tight (!) relative to my current skill level and general strategy. Now I am doing normal tables.
I shall take a small ball approach to get forward from now on.
1. Try to get feedback on a hand every day, me and my study buddy have a system for this.
2. Do my self-made maths quiz every day to get some of the odds/outs into my spine.
3. Go through some video material. 1/2 an hour of video per day. That will add up.
4. Play a max of 1000 hands per day until i have the basics down.
My limit will be micro for March. The first goal is to get 100k hands to have some data to look into what I’m doing exactly :)
