First I just wanted to say the Elements of Poker is my all time favorite poker book. As a 8+ year "pro" nothing has helped my game and ability to live with my "poker life".

The last 6 months I dediced to stop traveling to casinos and just play the underground games near my home. Happily this has worked out really well. I have a big edge in these games and in the last 6 week I have been running way above EV. Now every time I play hear all kinds of comments about how good I am, or how lucky I am, or that I never lose. Of course this is a good problem to have and I have seen no signs of it effecting the action I get. Being the "guy" is just very strange for me as I normally just travel to casinos or play online and have low profile. On one level I am enjoying getting respect for being good at poker but on another level I know this is just an ego trap and likely not +EV.

I am wondering "what would Tommy do?"
