Classifying a Poker Round.
How do you classify a Poker round?
Initially, I was thinking of classifying hands, like in "Top Pair, Top Kicker on Kmn flop" or the usual 'AhQh facing a re-raise on an Axx flop', but the thing is, especially in MTTs, sometimes the cards are less important than the situation (sometimes we don't even see or show the cards...).
Hence the question about how to classify a Poker round rather than merely Poker Hands.
Is it better to classify a round by including Raised Betting and Position as well? For MTTs, one would also consider adding Villain Type/Stats, Stack Sizes and MTT stage. One can also consider classifying by Street and/or Technique used (like the Stop-and-Go, Squeeze, Re-Steal).
It seems like a philosophical question, but in reality, I am building a personal database of poker information with a good index for quick review (and no, the PokerTracker DB with Filters isn't completely appropriate for what I am doing).
So how would you do this?
