mexican_giraffe12 years, 2 months agothanks. Interesting form of video, but uncomfortable to watch, because it's difficult to see the pot and stack sizes. In addition, there is too much action. It's better to recording 4/6 tables, imo.
JohanB12 years, 2 months agoI have a 30" monitor so maybe thats why for me it looked great, although I had to fullscreen it.
I personally prefer the 9table, because sometimes as an inexperienced video maker leo rambles a bit, so its nice to have other things to look at while hes talking.
Although you didn't encounter too many interesting spots, good video!
I have a 27'' monitor and the resolution was clear and no fuss. However, I do find it a tiny bit difficult to follow the action even though I also 9 table but its not that bad.
I think one thing that would help is instead of saying "over here he does this or over there we do that...." you can say like the table #. Because its difficult to see your mouse cursor since it moves pretty fast.
Now on to strategy questions:
1. on J32r 4 way and you face a cbet and raised A425, is this part of your getting it in range along with JJ?
2. Towards the end of the video you have a KKQ9 hand 3bet and flop is J76r and you had like 2.5x PSB and just shove. You did this similar play in the first two videos and this is a spot I agree a lot more since the PSB is shallower. However my question is so you are basically potting your entire continuing range? Or do you have smaller bet sizes say with total air and top sets? If your entire continue range is potting then everytime you check back villain can auto stab turn and profit?
I vote for sticking to 6 tables. I found the 9 tables basically unwatchable with everything being pretty small ( on a 27 inch HD monitor) and the indication of where the action is being unclear.
that was a nice video I only have miss some point out on the table that you are focusing on, Sometimes it was difficult to follow the action or know what hand you were talking about.
I would like to ask what range you are giving to villains on the hand that you squezed AAJJss and get called by two players, The flop is 379r and went donk bet and raise by the other villain, Here you said that you cannot fold. I have run this situation on ppt and the equity you have is far from the one you need (28%).
What do you think about this ranges? are well built? would you use different ranges for the villains?
Thank you,
Looking foward to your next video!
mason88 12 years, 2 months agoat 7:00 mark, table 1, 5987dd, over 250bbs on 357 in 3bet pot, what do you if he bets 2/3pot here? Do you CR, CC or do you sometimes donk? what if he checks and a card like J, K, Q comes off?
What about the ACE if im playing against people whose 3bet range primarily consist of aaxx combos? 2,4,8,9, 10, i guess u bet fold turn?
BargeAss12 years, 2 months agoI think with a numbering system I could have followed the action. With both mouse the same its very hard to see where you were pointing.
Check_mate_poker12 years, 2 months agoI think its cool that u wanted to make a 9 tabling video. But with 9 tables, its impossible to follow + think + learn from this video. I mean look at PG's videos, they are the best on the internet and his average table # for a video is probably 2.5
Munchausen12 years, 2 months agoLeo - at the 36min mark when you have AAT8hh vs Genodir, I'm not sure I understand the merits of the check versus the bet. In the vid, you talk about checking helps balance out your range, and while that might be true, I don't see how that makes your range much easier to play. If Genodir is willing to bet twice versus your check and we aren't autopaying him off, it seems better to have no checking range here. For instance, in any spot where our hand isn't as strong like when we have AKJT or TT99 without flush draws I don't see how checking generates any line favorable to us. Genodir would fire 1-2 more barrells, and these types of hands would be very hard to call bets with, even with light improvement. If we fire 100% of our range on this flop (perhaps with 1/3 sizing) , it seems that we extract good value/protection when he folds and we hold the weaker part of our range. Additionally, when he c/rs, we make a killing on the better part of our range. Long winded but I am wondering how you think a lag would play this spot versus your check-backs, and how you would respond with the middle to worse parts of your check back range.
